No two people heal the same way. Life’s challenges are unique for every person and that means that their healing process is unique as well.

Mercedes Ruiz bases her counselling practice on the firm belief that everyone starts from their own place when they begin to heal and that everyone heals in different ways at different paces.

Practising since 2005, Mercedes is trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques that allow her to guide her clients through healing processes as unique as they are.  She only employs methods and modalities that resonate with each client on an individual basis.

Mercedes holds space while clients rise above anxiety, trauma and depression.

 

 Her experience includes guiding her clients through:

• Perinatal Mental Health (postpartum, fertility, pregnancy & loss) at The Perinatal Wellness Centre

• Adjustment to major life changes
